Hi, I’m Stephanie, I’m the founder of The Brookside Beauty Salon. A mum of two, and someone who has spent nearly two decades building a beauty business rooted in trust, quality, and long-term relationships.
The Brookside salon didn’t start as a big brand or a big plan. It started with me, at 18, renting a single beauty room above a local hair salon with a dream of owning my own place one day.
I named it Stephanie’s Nails & Beauty and focused on one thing: doing great work and building loyal clients who felt cared for. That work ethic, combined with a constant drive to learn, is what shaped everything that came next.

My journey into beauty began at 18 years old, when I became self-employed and rented a single beauty room above a local hair salon. I named it Stephanie’s Nails & Beauty and from day one, my focus was on building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality treatments.
In 2010, The Brookside Beauty Salon was officially opened. With the support of my family, a clear vision and a strong work ethic, the salon began to grow steadily. This year marks our 17th year in business, a milestone that reflects consistency, resilience, and a commitment to doing things properly.
I’ve always believed that if you stop learning, you fall behind. Over the years I continued to invest in improving my skills, including training as a hairdresser, and my work was recognised when we were named in the Top 3 wedding hairdressers in the North West three years in a row.
Later, while raising two young children, I dedicated two years to university and became a qualified teacher. That experience strengthened how I lead, communicate, and support others, and it still influences the way we operate as a salon today.

Another major milestone in my journey was opening a marketing business with my husband. It gave me a completely new skillset and a deeper understanding of what truly drives growth.
It also changed my role inside the salon. Instead of being the main service provider, I moved into leading the business and focusing heavily on marketing and strategy. That shift has been a huge part of our continued success, allowing us to strengthen systems, grow sustainably, and keep improving the client experience.
The Brookside salon is built on care, not ego. I’m proud of our experienced team, with long staff retention and a culture where clients feel welcomed, listened to and confident in the service they receive.
We’ve also invested heavily into comfort and environment, including a renovated space, a welcoming atmosphere, and details that matter like heated, memory foam beauty beds.
But most importantly, taking care of our amazing team.

This treatment begins with 15 minutes under our professional LED face mask, where specific light wavelengths work deep within the skin to stimulate cellular repair, boost collagen and target individual concerns such as fine line, acne or redness.
To complete the treatment, enjoy a soothing face and neck massage, leaving your skin. refreshed, clam and glowing. Finished with SPF moisturiser.
